WHAT IS A FRACTIONAL FINANCE DIRECTOR?

A Fractional Finance Director is your In House Finance Director who will only work part time for you.

They will bring the full experience and expertise without the full time price tag of an FD/ CFO and other employee costs.

A Fractional Finance Director will work with a number of different clients on a weekly and monthly basis.

As a Fractional role it will be tailored to your needs and budgets, and is flexible and scalable to cover projects, retained services and peak times or events.

Your current finances might include.

A bookkeeper/ accounts assistance who will process the transactional data.

This means raising sales invoices, collecting cash, posting purchase invoices, creating payment runs and posting bank transactions.

You may have an in-house Accountant/ Management Account/ Finance Manager who produces monthly accounts, reconciles balance sheet reconciliations and submits VAT returns.

You will have an external accountant who may file your VAT and will produce your annual accounts and your corporate tax return.

A Fractional Finance Director will implement a financial reporting timetable, covering month end timings ensure you receive information on a timely basis.

Instil Board Meeting dates to ensure regular review and dates to create budgets and reforecasting during the financial year.

A Fractional Finance Director will enhancing monthly management accounts; to include P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow.

This will provide analysis on revenues and margins by
customer, product, geography and revenue type.

Providing actionable insights to make data driven decisions based on the financial performance.

A Fractional Finance Director will work with the business, its existing finance team and external accountants.

They will be sleeves rolled up to ensure efficiency and enhancement to all operations and departments within the business.

A Fractional Finance Director will be able to optimize and manage cashflows.

As well as providing strategic advice & planning, cover risk management and compliance and stakeholder management & communication.
